DEC CONTINUES TO DELIVER TRAINING UNDER NEW RESTRICTIONS

As Doncaster will increase to Tier 3 VERY HIGH at 00:01 Saturday 24th October, the highest level of restrictions issued by the UK government in response to rising coronavirus levels, Doncaster Equine College (DEC) will continue to deliver.

What does this mean for the DEC?

National rules as well as additional Tier 3 restrictions make clear that education and work should continue but with appropriate measures in place to ensure, as far as reasonably possible, the safety of workers and learners.  As a place of work and an educational establishment, Doncaster Equine College is in the category of allowed and encouraged activities. We have measures in place to ensure we are compliant with legislation and guidance.

All staff and learners have been made aware that the emphasis is on all of us to ensure that, both individually and collectively, we take these measures very seriously and apply them rigorously.   We will continue to respect and protect the health and safety of our learners and staff by maintaining distances, using good hygiene procedures and PPE where appropriate and wherever possible we will be avoiding unnecessary face-to-face interactions.
